About GED

GED Stands for General Educational Development. GED is an American degree/certificate which is similar to H.S.C or A-Level. Students completed GED can get education from universities at home and abroad as they can after accomplishing H.S.C or A-Level.

Effectiveness of GED

GED is effective both for regular and irregular students. Irregular students can move on for higher education by GED. If students had to face any break after SSC or O-Level, they can carry on their studies after completing GED. Regular students can sit for GED to save 2 years of time because GED need only 4/5 months.

Requirements

Original requirement for GED is that anyone whose age is 16 can sit for GED whatever his or her educational background is. But in our country, GED applicants must be passed from SSC or O-Level. So, it takes for the students to be in the age of 17. But it is not necessary for foreign educational institutions.
