Students of Bangladesh who are interested for higher education in Business and Management in Abroad, they need GMAT test. The full meaning of GMAT is Graduate Management Admission Test. Thorough this test students' ability to take a higher education in a foreign university on Business and Management is measured. It is a computer based examination. The time duration is 4(four) hour and total number is 800. The minimum score is measured 500+ and 600 score is granted everywhere. The GMAT score is valid till 5 (five) years.
Syllabus and subjects of the examination:
In GMAT test students' ability on basic verbal, Mathematical and analytical writing skills are tested. For this there are three parts in this test and these are:
- Analytical Writing Assessment
- Quantitative Section and
- Verbal section
On the Analytical Writing Assessment there are two different writing tasks and those are:
Analysis on an issue:
In this section the examinee will analysis on a particular issue with his own perspective. Through this test the student's ability of analysis on an issue is measured.
Analysis on any argument:
In this section the examinee will analysis the probable cause of the argument and then a comment on that argument will have been given.
After Analytical Writing Assessment, Quantitative Section will come. There are 37 multiple choice questions (MCQ) in this section and it will be finished within 75 minutes. In this section there are two types of questions: one of those Data sufficiency and another is Problem solving.
In Verbal Section there are 41 MCQ questions and this section will be finished within 75minites. There are three types of questions and those are reading Comprehension. In this section one has to write a passage within 350words on the basis of Social Science, Physical or Biological Science and Business related topics.
