Duties of Job: |
Sub-editor would ideally be someone with at least 3 years experience editing/subbing finance/corporate news at newspaper or online news or similar and would be available for part-time sub-editing in mornings Mon-Fri. Applicant must be very experienced in banking and finance, economics and corporate writing and terminology. Raw files sent by email to sub-editor in mornings 8am start. Turnaround time for editing 1 hour for a total of about 3 hours per day.

Special Instruction: News and business website seeks (1) experienced finance/corporate sub-editor to work part-time in mornings on financial/corporate articles about emerging SE Asia economy, and; (1) experienced news search collator to use internet search tools to find and collate E Asia news early mornings. Daily time needed for each positions would usually be about two to three hours Monday to Friday for sub-editing and Mon-Sat (early 7am start) for news collator. |
