Application form will be provided from the main office of AFMC (Except Fridays), by paying a total Tk.500 (non refundable). Duly filled application in prescribed form together with the following documents is to be submitted to Principal, Armed Forces Medical College Dhaka Cantonment.

Requirements:

Candidates who passed SSC session and HSC session in science group having biology are eligible to apply.
The students must have total GPA 8.00 & minimum GPA 4.00 in each of SSC or its equivalent and HSC or its equivalent examinations.
Candidates must have GPA 3.0 in Biology in HSC or its equivalent examination.
Physical Qualification: A candidate must be physically fit and conform to the minimum physical standard as laid down below:
AMC Cadets:
(a) Height (Min) : Male- 1.63 m (5\'- 4\")
Female - 1.55 m (5\'-l\")
(b) Weight (Min): Male- 45.36 Kg (100 lbs)
Female - 40.72 Kg (88 lbs)
(c) Chest (Min) : Male- Normal - 0.76m (30\")
Expanded - 0.81 m (32\")
Female - Normal - 0.71 m (28\")
Expanded - 0.76 m (30\")
(d) Visual Standard- 6/6 (±) 2.5 corrected with glass)
(e) Color blindness are not eligible.
(f) Hearing must be within normal limit
AFMC Cadet:
(a) Height (Min) : Male- 1.60 m (5\'- 3\")
Female - 1.52 m (5\'-0\")
(b) Weight (Min): Male- 45.36 Kg (100 lbs)
Female - 40.72 Kg (88 lbs)

Candidate from O & A level background equivalence certificate of their results must be submitted with the application by collecting from the Directorate General Health Service.

Conditions for Admission:

For AMC Cadets: Candidates must be permanent citizen of Bangladesh and unmarried. In July 01, 2009 age would be maximum 20 years old. Candidates' selection depends on written test and SSC & HSC exam result.

After completion of internship training, AMC cadets will have to join Army Medical corps compulsorily if denies then he/she have to compensate a fixed amount of money.

AMC cadets are exempted from admission fee, tuition fee, caution money, development charge, Library fee, College Magazine fee, Games & Sports fee. But they have to pay outfit, messing and laundry charges as per existing rates. Every AMC cadet will receive Tk. 1500.00 (Taka One Thousand Five Hundred only) per month as pocket money.
