Degrees offered:
For higher education there are Batchelor degree, Masters degree course, Diploma and P.hD degree in Russia. Besides, there are also Non degree program.
Semesters:
There are two semesters in the universities of Russia and these semesters are September to January, and February to June. Students can enter any of the semester according to their requirements.
Subjects and Disciplines:

Requirements:
For Batchelor degree minimum H.S.C pass is applicable. After Bachelor degree one can apply for Masters Degree. After this one can again apply for higher degree. So, at least 15-16 years of education is needed for Master's program. Some universities also require others qualification.
Living & Other Expenses:
Students have to spend reasonable amount of money per month for food, clothing, transport, telephone, accommodation, books etc.
Application Process:
The application form is available in different universities' website. You can know more through the websites of different universities in Russia. Check with the departments to see if there is a closing date for your application.
You should write directly to the Institution's Admission Office for detailed application information and forms.
Some universities have an on-line application facility.
Admission Office will inform you about the documentation, translation, and visa requirements. You should fill up application form properly and then submit it with all necessary documents to the concerned person.
Credit Transfer Facility:
Students of under-graduate and post-graduate level can apply for credit transfer facility in Russia. But if any student completes more than 50% of his or her course, he or she cannot be granted for any credit transfer facility. Up to "B" grade is acceptable in most of the universities in Russia. Other universities may want other qualification. Students have to submit necessary proof of their qualification.
