VISA Application Form
• The Visa application form will be distributed at the Embassy Visa Office.
• All applicants require bringing their passport to obtain the form; one form will be given for each passport.
Form submission and Interview date
• The applications are accepted Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 11:30 am and 01:00 pm except the Embassy Holidays.
• Application form together with all other required documents should be handed over to the officer.
• A receipt will be given and the interview date will be mentioned on it. Information about the procedure is also written in it.
Necessary documents for VISA
• Valid Passport; A separate passport is required for a child.
• Two Photos, size 3.5 X 4.5 cm . Photos should be taken within 6 months.
• Visa Application form (obtained from the Embassy gate).
• Original Academic Certificates (SSC to Higher degree, Admit card & Testimonial of all examinations. (Bangla or English version is acceptable).
• Acceptance Letter from School in Japan.
• Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Ministry of Justice in Japan.
• Reasons to study in Japan.
Confirmation of Documents
• As you are instructed in the receipt, you must contact the Embassy for inquiring if you are required any further documents for the interview.
• The hours of this process is between 15:00 and 16:45 on the day you submitted your application.
About interviews
• Interview takes place on the day you are appointed between 09:30am and 11:30am.
• In case that you are not able to come for interview on the appointed day, you may come to the Embassy any time it is convenient for you after the appointed date.
• Your name will be called on the First-come-First-served bases.
• All required documents must be submitted at the time of interview. Without such documents, the interview may not be taken.
Delivery of Visa
• Delivery of Visa is scheduled on the following working day.
• In some cases, you may be requested to submit further documents or to appear for further interview.
• All documents, except any documents attention to the Embassy and the copies of documents will be returned to you with passport.
• The hours are between 14:30 and 15:30 on the day or later mentioned on the back of the receipt.
